Refund Policy
The Association of Power Engineers (AOPE) collects subscription dues to maintain the operations, events, and registry of the association.
1. Standard Non-Refundable Policy
Because membership subscriptions (Annual Fees, GBM Fees, and other association dues) secure your active status and voting rights within the association for the specified financial year, all payments made to AOPE are strictly non-refundable.
Once a payment is successfully processed and a receipt is generated in your transaction ledger, the transaction is considered final.
2. Exceptions (Technical Errors)
The only exception to our non-refundable policy is in the event of a technical failure resulting in a duplicate charge. If your bank account or credit card is charged multiple times for the same subscription year due to a gateway error, you are entitled to a full refund of the duplicate amount.
3. How to Request an Exception Refund
If you believe you have been charged in error, please contact our support team within 7 days of the transaction. You must provide:
- Your Full Name and Designation.
- The Razorpay Transaction ID (found in your Payment History ledger).
- Proof of the duplicate charge (e.g., a bank statement excerpt).
Approved refunds for duplicate charges will be credited back after verification of the payment transaction.
